SHE / HER / HERS

Lindsay Kramer is a freshman earning her Theatre: Lighting Design MFA from Florida State University. Having been a student in different areas such as music, art, and engineering, Lindsay constantly explores various disciplines to broaden her artistic pursuits, integrating a fine art and engineering background into everything she does.

Lindsay received her BFA in Theatre: Design and Production from Coastal Carolina University in 2024. During her undergrad, she was elected this year by her peers, faculty, and staff in the Theatre Department to serve on the Season Selection Committee as the Theatre Design and Production student representative for the 2024-2025 season. She has also been selected for the past two years to be in Coastal’s Student Juried Art Exhibition, winning an Honorable mention in 2022 and 2023.

Her current areas of exploration are researching and creating different types of puppets, photography, and trying other areas of art to broaden her horizons as a theatrical artist.

ABOUT LINDSAY:

“Lights are to drama what music is to the lyrics of a song. The greatest part of my success in the theatre I attribute to my feeling for colors, translated into effects of light.”
