Design Statement
The Beckett & Durang One Acts was a collection of absurdist plays written by Samuel Beckett and Christopher Durang. This series of plays created a night of comedy, chaos, and confusion. The audience saw the world of these plays through the view of an old storage room of a museum. Using the repetition of color and texture, I designed the lighting to help create a unifying state that leads and connects the audience to each act.
